Malvika Nanda is a Delhi based Writer/Journalist, Entrepreneur and a Music/ Media Consultant & Strategist. After over a decade of active journalism with one of India’s leading newspapers – The Hindustan Times, she’s now pursuing her long cherished dream of working on the myriad aspects of the music and entertainment in India with her firm – The Big Beat. But, of course writing continues to be her first love.
As a journalist Malvika has reported on a wide variety ranging from undercover ops unearthing scams and injustice, reporting on riots and unrest, to issues plaguing the entertainment industry; as also securing a large number of exclusive interviews of Indian and International music legends – such as Sting, Bryan Adams, Mark Knopfler, Coldplay, Chris Rea, Deep Purple, Iron Maiden and Pandit Ravi Shankar among many others. She wrote a popular weekly music column called Gig-a-byte for HT City that envisaged the Indian Independent music in specific, while also keeping a track of developments in counter culture scenario, nightlife and music in general.
Not forgoing her love for prose, Malvika continues write for a variety of traditional and online publications (such as Femina, Society,  Exotica, LuxepointIndia.com, WeddingFables.com, BornOfWeb.com, Mail Today/ India Today, The Citizen, along with this weblog.  

Malvika has recently launched Supper And Song, one of the country’s first few music-based series on youtube that features, unscripted and immersive conversations with some of the with some of the most compelling music-makers, over a new gourmet experience each time.
